IntelliSource KEYS to SUCCESS

Welcome to the IntelliSource Blog. This week we are discussing IntelliSource KEYS to continued Client Success. Advancements in technology and service options are changing the business world we live in. Exceeding client expectations through outstanding service and delivered solutions is the lifeblood of our business. At IntelliSource, we believe what we do vs what we say impacts our end result driving business growth. We are sharing with our valued BLOG readers today, some of our keys to client success.

KEYS to SUCCESS

SERVICE IMPROVEMENT
IntelliSource keeps their focus on service improvement at a rapid and ongoing pace.  We ask questions to learn constantly and when we see a need, we fill a need. One of our goals is to reach beyond our comfort zone and strive to deliver solutions that demonstrate value to our trusted clients.  We look to changes we can make within our organization to support and deliver service improvements that will impact the work we do and the clients we support.

PERFORM AND DELIVER ABOVE EXPECTATIONS
At IntelliSource, we don’t just hit the set target, we aim for one or two steps higher.  You can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets.  Looking to the future and asking ourselves what we learned from the experience and how can we can apply revisions to our current process are questions we ask each day.  Whether we are staffing a large IT or Business Services project or Outsourcing a new distribution center, our focus is the same – perform and deliver above client expectations.

ASK OUR CLIENTS
The IntelliSource process involves asking key questions of our clients including what else they would like, appreciate or value from our company.  We ask ourselves what new things we need to be doing that our clients would appreciate.  Starting dialogues that create future solutions with our clients cultivates strategic partnerships for the future.

BE OPEN TO CHANGE
In the digital age, companies have more and more options and tools to help service and reach new and existing clients.  At IntelliSource, we recognize and understand the need to maintain an open mind towards change and technology to advance forward.  For example, the questions companies are now asking themselves are not “If we will use Social Media” but, “How well are we using Social Media”.  Expanding our business and supporting clients is priority.  One golden rule that will never outdate itself is the critical importance of providing quality Client Service.  Our goal is to SURPRISE our clients with something special by delivering unbelievable service and continuously look for new ways to improve our results.

Buff Your Brain – A look at Cognitive Science

January 20th, 2012

Welcome to the IntelliSource Blog. This week we are sharing information from a recent Newsweek magazine issue related to the topic of neurobiology and cognitive science (how we can get smarter through practice and changes in lifestyle). We hope you will explore the article by Begley, Sharon (2012) titled 31 Ways to Get Smarter in 2012 as well as Buff Your Brain. These articles challenge us to consider reading more, learning new languages, mastering the game of chess, and zoning out to help “buff our brains”.

At IntelliSource, our leadership workshops focus on helping teams better understand how increasing memory and attention span can drive results, improve overall service to our clients and charge innovative thinking.  Recent studies support neuroscience improvements which equate to boosting memory, attention span, and overall IQ in the long run.  This research indicates that IQ, long thought to be largely unchangeable after early childhood, can in fact be raised by small changes in lifestyle.  The key to increasing brain intelligence is intensive training to exercise the mind.  Intelligence comes from having more neurons and synapses (connections between neurons) so take a peek at the 31 suggested recommendations to a smarter you in 2012.

IntelliSource Top Picks:

From Newsweek’s article: 31 Ways To Get Smarter in 2012

  • Refine Your Thinking - The brain has two distinct modes of thought, according to Daniel Kahneman, author of Thinking Fast and Slow.  System 1 is fast and automatic; System 2 is slower and more effortful.  Understand these two systems, Kahneman argues, and we may be able to detect our own lazy biases and make better choices.
  • Download the TED APP - The world’s greatest minds gather annually via TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conferences to explore the cutting edge of issues like brain mapping.  Download the app and watch these speakers discuss various topics.
  • Learn A New Language – Mastering a second language gives a workout to your prefrontal cortex, which affects decision making and emotions.
  • Eat Dark Chocolate - This tasty treat is reported to have memory improving flavonoids!

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to understand and remember more of what you read and hear?  To learn and retain new skills that improves your job performance allowing you to connect bits of knowledge together for improved results?  Getting a bigger brain is easier-and more fun-than you might think.  For more information and full articles, please enjoy the below links:
